The Get-Together featuring the Red Yarn Band

Pivot PDX invites you to "The Get-Together," a family dance party where all are welcome! Acclaimed Portland family performer Red Yarn, alongside his musical family & their full band, will perform a mix of revved-up folksongs & roots-rock originals from their tenth album, "The Get-Together." Families will be singing & dancing along to the Red Yarn Band's upbeat songs, while celebrating community, collaboration, human connection & childhood. Red Yarn's beloved critter puppets will also be on hand, providing comic relief and sweet social-emotional lessons. During the band's sets, Pivot PDX founder, Lauren Kawa Funk, will teach easy dance moves to the crowd! Plus, there will be  a snack bar for kids and a real bar for adults! Bring your dancing shoes and let's get-together!
