Can I choose when I start my membership?

Yes! With both monthly and annual memberships, you pick your start date. Once selected, it can’t be changed, so choose the date that works best for you.

What classes are included in Pivot memberships?

Memberships apply to adult classes only. Youth programs, workshops, and special events are not included.

What are the perks of a Pivot membership?

When you become a member, you get more than just unlimited classes. Your perks include:

Why does Pivot take a break in July? (and what it means for your membership)

Pivot runs classes all year long but takes a studio-break every July - a chance for our community (and instructors!) to rest, reset, and return strong in August.

• Annual Memberships: Your monthly fee does not change in July because your discounted rate already has the July break built in. You pay $92/month (the equivalent of $100/month with July already taken off), spread across 12 months.

• Monthly Memberships: Your membership automatically pauses in July. You will not be charged in June for July, and your billing will automatically restart in July for your August classes.

 

When is payment processed?

When you purchase a membership (annual or monthly) you are able to select your start date.  Your plan will then auto-bill each month on that same date.

 

What if I only come once in a while — is there a better option than membership?

Yes! If you’re not ready for an annual or monthly commitment, we’ve got flexible options:

• Drop-in classes ($24) - Pay as you go, no strings attached. When you can make it, we’re here for you!

• Class packs - buy 5 or 10 classes at a discounted rate and use them anytime that works for you within the expiration date set on the plan. 5-class packs expire in 3-months from purchase and 10-class packs expire 5 months from purchase. Please note we are no longer extending class packs beyond their expiration dates. Drop-in classes are there for you if you can’t commit to the expiration date. 

 

Can I transfer or share my membership?

No. Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared. But good news: Every member receives one guest pass per month to share with a friend, so you can still bring someone along to move with you.

 

Can I freeze my membership for reasons other than July?

Monthly memberships may only be paused in July. All other pauses are handled through cancellation with 30-days notice.

 

How do I cancel my membership?

For monthly memberships, you may cancel after the two-month minimum by emailing us at studio@thisispivotpdx.com with at least 30 days’ notice. Annual memberships are based on a 12-month contract and are non-refundable.
