Service Description
Tempo is Pivot's new, long-awaited, dance class that is for people who want to embody dance music, without combos or choreography. Perfect for: those looking for a joyful, music-driven experience that builds cardio endurance, encourages self-expression, and reconnects them with their body. Tempo is a somatic movement experience that invites you to trust your inner dancer and let the music move you. Beginning and ending with grounding practices, this class is a journey from stillness into full-body expression with elements of dance, strength and mobility. Set to an energizing EDM-inspired playlist with light guidance, you'll work up a sweat, find your own tempo, and lose yourself in the music. No dance experience necessary.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
For adult classes, you can cancel up to an hour before class by logging into the website and canceling or rescheduling. For youth sessions, attendance is set for the duration of the session. Reach out to studio@thisispivotpdx.com if your child cannot attend and we will let the instructor know. There are no refunds offered for sessions, drop-in classes, or pricing plans.
